Straight answers about the Pathfinder Teen Leadership Training program and about what this software does and does not do.
TLT Tracker is a web-based management application that helps Pathfinder clubs organize and administer the Teen Leadership Training (TLT) program. It gives directors, mentors, counselors, staff and teen leaders one place to track progress, requirements, attendance, honors, assignments and communication.
TLT stands for Teen Leadership Training. Teens in the program are usually referred to as TLTs.
Teen Leadership Training is a Pathfinder program in which teenagers take on real leadership responsibility in their club — helping lead units, teaching younger Pathfinders and assisting with activities — while completing leadership requirements under adult mentors. The official requirements are defined by Pathfinder and conference materials, not by TLT Tracker.
Yes. TLT Tracker is a mobile-first web app built specifically for administering a Pathfinder TLT program. It runs in a browser on a phone, tablet or computer and can be added to a phone's home screen; there is nothing to install from an app store.
In TLT Tracker, each teen is placed on one or more operation tracks, each of which is a checklist of activities. Admins check items off as they are completed, recording who signed off, when, and optionally the location or event. Required items are marked, and each activity expands to the full wording the club entered.
Pathfinder clubs running a Teen Leadership Training program. Within a club, accounts come in three kinds: admins (typically the TLT director and club leadership), mentors, and TLT participants. There is no open self sign-up — an admin invites people by email or shares a club invite code.
Yes, and only those. An admin assigns each mentor specific teens. The mentor then sees those teens' track progress, activity notes, assignment submissions, attendance, points, honors and service hours, and can take part in comment threads. Mentors cannot check requirements off or edit records.
Yes. An admin opens one attendance screen listing the whole club and marks present, uniform check, participation and communication for each teen at the meeting. Attendance feeds the club's point totals and can be exported in reports.
Yes. Honors earned are logged with what the honor was, when it was earned and who it was earned with, and they count toward the club's merit point totals using the point value the club configured.
Only accounts with the admin role can check off requirements or edit records. Counselors and other staff given the mentor role can view the teens assigned to them and comment, but cannot change the record. A club decides for itself who gets admin access.
Yes. A club can have as many mentor accounts as it needs, and admins assign each one their own set of TLTs.
Yes. A TLT can send a task sign-off request link to the adult who oversaw the work. That person reads the teen's write-up, adds comments and approves or denies it. The result goes to the admin sign-off queue, where an admin makes the final decision before it becomes part of the record.
Yes. Teens can carry several operation tracks simultaneously, and each track keeps its own checklist and its own completion percentage rather than one combined figure.
No. TLT Tracker is an independent management tool and is not an official website or product of the Seventh-day Adventist Church or North American Division. It is not endorsed by, sponsored by or affiliated with them.
No. TLT Tracker is a recordkeeping and administration tool. Clubs should follow their conference and the current official Pathfinder and TLT materials for authoritative requirements, policies and certification steps.
It replaces scattered paper checklists and spreadsheets with one shared record: the director sees every teen's progress per track, signs requirements off with an audit of who and when, takes attendance on a phone during the meeting, reviews outside sign-off requests, assigns mentors, and exports CSV reports for club or conference paperwork.
No. Each club's data is isolated at the database level. Accounts belong to a single club and can only reach that club's records.
No. Everything inside the application is behind authentication, signed-in pages are excluded from search engine indexing, and no page on this public website is generated from club or participant data.
